Testimonials

After discovering my child was allergic to dairy, gluten, rice, almond and soy I was desperate for an alternative milk product.
Sometime later a friend then told me about DariFree.
I decided to give it a try, and have not looked back !
DariFree has a sweeter taste to soy/rice and works very well in recipes requiring milk.
It makes delicious ice-cream, and my other children drink it without any fuss too.
And DariFree Chocolate milk......I can't keep up with the demand !
It's so yummy, my kids cannot tell the difference between it and regular dairy chocolate milk drinks.
"THANK GOD FOR DARIFREE", I wouldn't be without it.

My name is Toni Daniel and I live in North Qld.

When my daughter (now four years old) was diagnosed with Autism we discovered that 65% of autistic kids benefit from being on a gluten and casein free diet.
After eliminating these substances from her diet we were lucky enough to notice changes in her behaviour within the first week.
We then began the quest of finding palatable foods that she would eat to replace those that she could not.
A milk alternative was the hardest thing for us, as she did not like the Rice milk and would drink Soy milk only occasionally (under pressure).

Finding that Kris Barrett from gcFree was importing the Vance’s DariFree Potato milk that I had heard so much about was a godsend for us and we very quickly placed our first order with her.

Finally we had found a non-dairy milk alternative that our daughter actually liked and would drink without a fuss.
She drinks it plain, with flavour added and even finally began eating (gluten free) cereals again.
The potato milk makes the nicest ice-cream that I have made and the chocolate flavour is the most divine chocolate milk that even I have ever tasted.

The potato milk replaces normal milk in all recipes and is versatile enough to do anything with. i.e. Smoothies, Mousses, Custard etc.

We no longer had to worry about our daughter’s calcium requirements (which was a big worry for us) as DariFree has the same calcium levels as normal milk.

DariFree is comparable in price with the Soy and Rice milks on supermarket shelves and has made our life much easier.

I would recommend that anyone give it a try.

We first came across Vance’s Darifree in one of our preferred Autism reference books "Facing Autism, giving parents reasons for hope and guidance for help" by Linda Hamilton.
What convinced us was that she explains that it has a low sugar content compared to rice milk and it has as much calcium as cow’s milk .
Our four year old son liked it from day one and has not had a single ear infection since we started using it .

My son has Phenylketonuria (PKU) (an inability to process protein) and we use Darifree as it is extremely low (almost zero) in Protein .
We have used it as a milk replacer in all the situations we can think of ( cereal, cooking, milkshakes, etc ), my son even drinks it straight .
He especially likes the chocolate milk but the versatility of the plain milk has been very useful .
This is the best milk substitute we have used !

I am a mother of 7 children, all of which are on a gluten, casein, soy and corn free diet because of having either Autism, ADHD and food intolerances !! So giving them treats is very difficult, as you can imagine !!

Since I found out about Darifree, we have been able to have chocolate milk, chocolate paddle pops, brownies and even ice cream !!
My children are so happy and don't feel like they're missing out so much anymore!!
It tastes great and it's good for you what more can you ask !?!

I have 4 children and all have different food problems.  I have tried several other milk alternatives before but none where accepted by my fussy children.  We currently have tried all the gcFree products except chocolate ice cream.

The plain DariFree is excellent in all cooking and also as a milk replacement.  I myself have allergies to milk and am fussy at what my cuppa tastes like - not bad I must say with this great product.  I use it in bread everyday and make custards as well. My kids love to make smoothies with fresh fruit and what you do not drink, freeze for icy poles, after school.

The chocolate DariFree is the BEST. This is what I started my kids on to convert them over. We make hot chocolate, iced chocolate, chocolate icy poles. But my favorite is to add a organic peppermint tea bag to hot chocolate and drink. It reminds me of going to the coffee shop.

I have found the cakes a great relief for when you are going some where and want that cake to turn out great.  Yes we freeze these as well in cup cake size for special treats at school and I have left some at the Preschool for when birthday cakes come and my son eats his special cake in of course Spiderman Papers .The chocolate cake  is very rich, but my 4 kids love the carrot the best.  Good isn't it.

We have just recently tried the ice cream and made it with fresh mango's, my oldest daughter who is 8 and the most fussiest of all, loved it and I think she ate nearly all of it.

Chocolate drops are great in biscuits or as a little treat in the kids afternoon tea.

I love all of these products as they make it so much easier to have a nutritious alternative to Dairy, Soy and Rice milks that is full of vitamins.

Thanks for importing such a great product Kris and for being always so helpful and willing to share your great knowledge of the products.

Lisa Z, mum of 4 great kids.
